The polishing service includes the removal of a thin layer of metal in order to treat signs of wear on a jewel. It does not remove deep scratches or dents. An expert Aristocrazy polisher performs this service, which includes diagnosis, polishing and cleaning. In order to enhance the shine of white gold, pieces are sometimes covered with a thin layer of rhodium.

We work with gold, rose gold, rhodium and bicolour plating. This service includes several stages.

1. A gentle polish is applied to try to remove signs of wear.
2. They are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning to remove impurities.
3. The piece is plated (with a thickness of 3 microns of 18 kt gold for the gold and rose gold finish and 0.10 microns of rhodium for the white finish).
4. Drying is carried out to ensure a satisfactory result.

We recommend carrying out this service when the jewel has lost its colour intensity. This service does not affect the structure of the jewel.

Plating is only permitted in the original colour of the jewel.

We subject our jewels to ultrasonic cleaning to remove impurities. Ultrasonic baths are widely used to clean jewels and precious metals. Among their advantages is the fact that they can easily remove tiny dirt particles that are almost impossible to eradicate in any other way, even without dismantling the pieces, saving a great deal of time and working precisely and harmlessly.

This service allows you to increase or reduce the size of an 18 kt ring by up to a maximum of 4 sizes without affecting its appearance or design. An expert Aristocrazy jeweller performs this personalised service which includes diagnosis, size adjustment, polishing, cleaning and rhodium plating if necessary. The first size adjustment is free of charge. If it is not technically possible because it affects the stone setting, a new fabrication will be quoted as long as the jewel is from a current season.

If the setting of your jewel is not adequate, we recommend visiting our stores for an assessment. It may be necessary to re-set the stone or create new prongs to secure your stone to the jewel.

We work with different types of jewellery clasps on earrings, bracelets and necklaces. It is very important to ensure the clasp is working correctly before putting on a jewel to avoid losing it, as it is never covered by the warranty. The clasps that may require this service are:

• Lobster clasp on chain (silver and 9 and 18 kt gold)
• Earring clasp (silver and 9 and 18 kt gold)
• Safety clasp
• Brooch
  

We perform silver and 9 and 18 kt gold soldering in the following cases:

• Chain soldering
• Bolt soldering
• Spot soldering on motifs
• Shaping (rings)
• Gold ring soldering (not valid for silver)
• Prong soldering on settings

It is advisable to carry out a plating service after these services so that the final result is optimal.

We recommend periodic maintenance of Aristocrazy watches by our Technical Service at our points of sale. We have our own workshop, a Master watchmaker and the best professionals.

The water resistance of the watch is not permanently guaranteed by Aristocrazy. The seals that guarantee it can physically deteriorate due to use of the crown, pushers, impacts or other factors.
